I would have expected a Honda dealership to stand behind their product better given their reputation for being reliable cars. FYI they are not so reliable and therefore not worth the premium cost!
Wayne - the fact of the matter is that there WAS a problem with it and I was basically told "well that's your tough luck, you should have bought the extended warranty". According to Honda Canada records Midtown Honda knew there was a problem with the air conditioning when they sold it to me in January, of course I didn't find this out until July when I used the air conditioner at which point I couldn't return the vehicle. My mechanic said this was a problem that definitely shouldn't happen on a vehicle of that age and was as appalled as I was that your dealership wasn't willing to do anything to make things right.
Wayne - clearly if I bought the car in January, there would be at least 4-5 months before I would use the A/C and discover a problem so a 30 day warranty on the A/C in January is of no use whatsoever. I was clearly told by your dealership that they would do nothing to assist me other than charge me almost double what my mechanic charged me to fix it.
