  • We have owned our Meritage home for 9 years in Surprise and have been happy with the home and have had no problems once the new construction woes were repaired. Our kitchen sink is in an island and has no drain vent and loops in the island and under the slab. the sink backs up now everytime we do the dishes. It is poor design and not vented. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
