  • This is one of my favorite places. There are a couple of popular restaurants close by, but you can still generally find street parking within a block. The Applewood is actually a somewhat separate establishment from the Park Place Pub, though they are in the same building, so you buy your beer separately from the burgers. My husband and I bring a deck of cards and play a couple hands of gin, and have a beer while we wait for the food. Everybody's super nice, the atmosphere is chill, and the burgers are AWESOME. It's not fancy, but it's delicious, and a great way to unwind after work. Highly recommend.
