First off I love smiths as a rule. My home store is the las vegas blvd one where they know me and dani and frank take care of business however this store is on my way now so I've had to go there several times lately.
Im an ex store assistant so i know whats right. On Friday i went to pay a bill that i had tried to pay twice that week but stood in line for ten mins each time and left. I drop an avg. of 140 a week there however i shop for both my group homes so each home gets 600 a month also.
I finally got a girl on this last Friday who walked up and said...i haven't had a break all day so its going to be about a fifteen minute wait...first off its 6pm... She asked what i needed and i said a quick pay, which is in fact, quick. She then said... Oh our machines are down you need to try again tomorrow...really? I already called to see how late they were open for pmts and wouldn't they have said, oh btw were down??
I will not go into that store again. I purchased ham which went bad after 3 days and i was told it was probably where i store it... I but meat every week... Im so discouraged with this store i cant begin to explain.
I know its only 1500 a month but really, why do they deserve my business when Albertsons is across the street? Also, i specifically asked the bagger please make them heavy, i hate bags they will be fine... I ended up with one two let of soda per bag (i bought4) one pork roast in a bag, two cans, then he put my cut watermelon on the bottom with three cans of spaghetti o's on top... Really???? Really not ok-
On the up side there was a young man in the gas station who took the time to tell me how to use my card at the pump. He made sure i understood how to process and was thorough. He should be commended for going above and beyond. I hope you take this and fix the problem because one doesn't cancel the other as they're not in the same category. Please fix the girl at the desk because thats a huge reason not to shop there again.
