Definitely one of my most interesting food adventures.
We got the Foie Gras poutine, Duck in a Can, and the Melting Pot.
First, word of advice to those new to foie gras: don't order more than one dish with foil gras. It's quite rich and you can't eat a lot of it. The Duck in a Can dish has 100g of foie gras.
Our favourite dish was the Melting Pot. So much sausage and pork all over the most delicious mashed potatoes you'll ever have. And it wasn't so overbearingly rich like the Duck in a Can.
The Duck in a Can is a pretty fun, interesting dish. But for my tastes, it's just too oily and fatty. Our server actually congratulated us for finishing as much of it as we did (which was almost all of it). Some parts of it I found difficult to eat due to its richness, but it was otherwise delicious and unique.
Service is good, especially considering how busy they are. And it was really fun sitting at the bar in front of the open kitchen. I was surprised how small the kitchen was for a restaurant this size.
I would definitely like to come back to try more of their dishes!
