I was not very pleased with this hotel. My family stayed here for about 4 days for my sisters wedding and while the rooms itself were nice, there were a few things that made for an unpleasant experience. The first thing was the maid service on one of the days. For some reason, the room was not even cleaned yet and it was already about to be 3 in the afternoon. After the cleaning lady was done, we returned to the room to find out that literally nothing that has been cleaned except that the beds were made and a few blankets were folded. I'm not kidding, when we came back we noticed that there was still trash on the floor and the tables and mirrors were not even wiped. I'm not sure if her shift was about to end but there has to be some reason to why the room still looked so messy. Another disappointment was that you couldn't rent a basketball past 8pm due to noise restrictions. I think we they should have thought about building the basketball courts farther away from the rooms. Lastly, on one of the nights the pool was not operating so we had to walk over to the Hampton inn to use theirs. I'm glad that they let us use their pool but it was a minor inconvenience. I'm not sure how much these rooms on average go for but regardless of the price, with a name brand like Hilton you somewhat expect pretty good service overall and unfortunately I did not have that at this location. The only reason why I'm giving this place an additional star is because there was a gentleman on Monday morning working in the breakfast area who allowed my sister and brother in law along with their two young children to still get some breakfast items from the buffet despite showing up about 25 minutes after the buffet closed. If they hired more people like this I'm sure they would be very successful.
