My 3 year old had surgery here in on Jan 31. He stayed 5 days. We had really great nurses up until the last night when a nurse Brad was his nurse! He is now really afraid off male doctors. Brad came in shoving medicine into his mouth holding his checks within 2 minutes in the room. He also said where going to have a plan so he can sleep loaded him with Lortab, morphine, Tylenol, and his other meds all at the same time, when I asked about his oxygen level going down he says its normal for that to happen with all the meds. So after an exhausting 4 nights awake I spent the whole night up watching him as his oxygen level kept going down to 84-89. NONE OF THE OTHER NURSES PUT THIS ALL IN HIM EVEN AT DAY 1 WHEN HIS SPINAL TAP DIDNT TAKE AND WAS IN PAIN AND I EVEN QUESTIONED IT. my son spit most of it out as soon as he came in because he came in very forceful and I brought that up to him why he was giving him more not knowing how much he spit out and remember this is day 5 and more meds at once than he did on day 1!!! Be careful with this nurse!!! Even though the nurse before his shift said his pain level was to high and she did not see him going home after that experience I was just ready to leave and if he was in that much pain after take him to another childrens hospital!!
