| - Whether it is coffee, a cocktail, or a satisfying lunch that you seek, AJ really delivers. Sandwiches are ordered at a counter in the back and seem to made entirely fresh. No grease to speak of on the veggie and hummus pita, just a whole lot of flavor. The satisfying snap of cucumber and tomato twinned with the hummus' cool temperament makes for a very tasty sandwich. The pita, too, is just the perfect amount of chewy. One downfall, albeit minor: the sides are oddly pricey (a few tablespoons of cole slaw for $3), but are equally flavorable grub. This reviewer would recommend snagging a patio seat as the patio provides a delightful view of downtown's beating heart, and let it said, the experience of munching a pita, perhaps with an icy beer beside it, as you survey this strange rust belt haven (complete with a new Captain Morgan sign looming overhead like a vagrant TJ Eckelburg) epitomizes the joys of people watching.
