Finally! I've stumbled on a great Korean supermarket here in Vegas. It was about time too. Having lived in LA for several years next to Koreatown, the choices for Korean food and groceries were pretty much endless. Imagine my disappointment after moving to Vegas and not having a place to get my Korean fix.. the horror!
Enter Greenland.. they have a huge variety and selection of Korean products/snacks/drinks/etc that you would expect from an Asian supermarket. My favorite part is the kimchee and side dishes that they sell in the back. Word on the street is that they're made fresh in-house! The price is decent and there is a huge selection of dishes to satiate your pickled needs. I grabbed the cucumer salad, bean sprouts and radish kim chee. A perfect supplement to almost any meal at home!
The kim chee is probably going to be the main reason I come back here. Honestly, I can find cheaper groceries (sometimes) at other Asian supermarkets. But the kim chee is a winner in my book, so hello Greenland.
There is a food court adjacent to the market with various vendors including Korean (obviously), Japanese and Chinese cuisine. There is ample parking right outside as well.
