I first tried to order the Green Hornet smoothie ... #fail. They were out of it. They get their smoothies from The Juice Brothers and they are prepackaged - I know this because I then tried to order the AB&J smoothie and I asked if they could add spinach, but they were wary because of the prepackaged smoothie and they couldn't grantee how it would taste.
So moving on... I ordered an iced chai tea latte and my friend ordered an iced mocha. They were great! The chai tea latte was smooth and sweet.
They have a limited offering of lunch options, but they all look to be local and about $12-$15.
My coworkers were raving because they offer oat milk! They say it's the bomb. So I'll have to order a drink with it.
When my friend tried to order her mocha she asked for skim milk -- they don't currently serve skim milk, but they said that it would be on the menu after their soft opening phase.
The straws they use are those trendy paper straws. DITCH 'em!!! They get soggy quickly and you're already using a recycled plastic cup to serve iced coffee in... so I think you should find recycled plastic straws to accompany the cup.
I loved the décor with its very minimalistic vibe. There were hanging plants over the length of the coffee counter. At the end of the counter was a bar seating area with about 4-5 stools. There were some other tables and comfy chairs for customers as well.
In the back of the store is a section where you can buy home goods and cards. It's small, but there are some cute things over there.
Off to a great start, looking forward to seeing their success!
