| - I went here because it was close to my home and has fairly positive reviews. The office staff was very nice. The dental hygienist, who checked my level of cleaning needed, was extremely heavy handed and needless to say, it was a painful experience. I'm not a dentist expert by any means, but I know a little about healthcare. The first appointment is the most important, folks. It is not a time designated for painful experiences. I was also evaluated by a dentist, whom I don't remember the name of, who revealed that I have 4 cavities (I have had 0 cavities in my lifetime). I was quoted roughly $3,000 without insurance for a cleaning and cavity fillings.
I just visited another dentist and they revealed 0 cavities, minimal discomfort for the same eval, and quoted me $500. The dentist spent a lot of time with me there, as opposed to desert dentistry.
Maybe it is a better experience when you have insurance. Regardless, I feel scammed. I hear that is very prevalent in the dental health industry.
Skip these guys.
