  • The Trump Hotel in other cities is all about class and elegance, which is not necessarily the case with the Vegas Trump. I'm not sure what it is about this place, but it just doesn't seem to stack up to the other 5 star hotels in Vegas... I've stayed here a couple of times, because I had a dog with me and and it was dirt cheap. As you walk in, the decor and fixturing is actually really well done and this place give you a good feeling... Then you go to the front desk and they'll try to upsell you for days, which is a tad bit weird. The rooms were actually very well appointed and spacious but lacked the cleanliness of places like the Wynn, Cosmo or Mandarin. Almost seemed as if they missed several spots during the cleaning process. Another thing that stuck out to me was the amount of weed being smoked, lol, you could smell it in nearly all the hallways... Likely not the Trump's fault, but I would say that the clientele here is a bit different then you'd see at some of the other high end hotels... Also, this place is pretty far off the strip and has no casino but is literally across the street from the mall which is cool. Overall, not all that recommended if you're looking for 5 star, but if you want elegance on a budget, this place is not a bad option.
