| - Updated review: ***PLEASE READ if you want to move here! STAY AWAY. Spend your money somewhere else in Summerlin/Spring Valley - where they appreciate your on-time payments and have a management team that does their job. I Lived here since 2015. Have given the office many chances to improve even under new Management. UNLESS the manager Cheryl does it herself nothing gets done. Or unless corporate or Regional is contacted NOTHING will get done. Wanted to end my lease in 2016 but new Manager Cheryl talked me into staying and even upgraded me into a bigger town home as well. From day ONE we have nothing but issues and now pay MORE MONEY due to being in a bigger space. I am fine with paying more money as I have never missed a payment - We were told that this is an upgraded town home - IT'S NOT. The appliances over over 20 years old and seem to break every 60 days. I understand that things break from time to time. My issues is - when you put in a ticket with maintenance they take forever to get it done or come in your home TRY to fix it, then leave and never come back unless you CALL them to complete the job. I have moved in my town home in JUNE 2017 - I have had about 7 major incidents that I have to practically beg the office to complete and follow up with/needs to be fixed. I have even had to get corporate or regional involved to get simple things done. Issues are as follows: Water leak/Flooding in my downstairs apartment several times, Been through 3 dishwashers since June 2017 - I now have mold under my kitchen sink. Emailed regional and still no reply. Guard house letting people come on in without calling, (If you wave to them they just let you right in.) Maintenance leaving a HUGE hole in my downstairs wall for SEVEN DAYS in the middle of SUMMER when it was up to 120 degrees at times - end result: HIGH AC bill, When people walk their dogs and let them use the bathroom outside my town home then I can smell their dogs poop and pee. I also could not COOL DOWN my town-home AND bugs entering in my kitchen via the hole the maintenance team left and them NOT following up on their JOB. Leak in master bedroom - causing me and my fiancé to be up all night with no sleep. And both of us having to sleep on the couch. (Like we are guests in my own town home.) My dishwasher breaks and leaks every 60 days. They delivered a "new dishwasher" (it is older than me) Complete with tape on it and they install it - then guess what - they DO NOT even screw it in. I have to email them to please screw it in correctly after it fell on my foot. - Kitchen Sink gets clogged and I am now washing my dishes in the downstairs bathroom sink - because maintenance takes so long to fix it. End result: now my kitchen is filled with ants. - Southwest Gas Corporation refused to turn on the gas on 06/26 because they said the way the gas line was running was dangerous. Maintenance had to fix that as well and make sure it was up to code in our garage. They came and turned on the gas on 06/27 so we were without hot water for a day. Garage clicker didn't work - for a "upgraded unit." Oh, and every town-home has blinds installed but mine. - Why didn't management catch this? Why does it take 2 weeks to get them? (We still DO NOT HAVE THEM btw) They also advertise to be a "pet friendly community" but now want to swab your pets mouth and get their DNA and then CHARGE YOU $40.00 for it. Maintenance will pick up your dog's stool - then ship it out to be tested. The program will send you AND your pets information to a company that test your dog's Poop, (I am not kidding) I did research on the company is not even in Las Vegas. AND- it is "patent pending." (Sounds legit.) After they ship your dog's stool - the company "tests" it - they then want charge you a fee for not picking up the poop if the stool shipped belongs to your dog. - So, this office is not only handing your mail to you, passing out cookies to kids or breakfast, they are now going to ship your dog's poo and get it tested to see who it belongs to vs just picking it up?! That is a lot of work in my opinion. Also, what if your dog has an accident? Meaning- diarrhea or something? How are we supposed to pick that up? Isn't that what the maintenance team gets paid for? I have a service dog and shouldn't be charged a fee anyways. They also have stated that they will "terminate your lease if you don't comply." My dog's DNA isn't listed in my lease nor even on my lease to begin with, since he is a service dog i do not pay rent for him because i have a disability! Issues are just continuing - Like I said - STAY AWAY. Can't wait to move! I left a voicemail for Elizabeth at the Corporate/Regional today and haven't heard back yet. I look forward to hearing from someone soon. Thank you.
