  • Toronto Tourist tripping on a Thursday afternoon and wanted to bar hop downtown and this place pops up via yelp....this was meant to be. Service: We sat at the bar and encountered Friendly friendly chatty bartenders that enhanced the drinking experience. On the tap beer menu, along the name they also listed it's: Style, origin, and ABV which we appreciated. In the end, we just old our bartender what beers we normally like and she'd send us some suggested samples before committing to an order. I wish other things in life were that simple but it's simple and friendly at Bar Hop. Beers: Here are the my two favorite beers I've never had before until Bar Hop: Halo Tangerine Shapeshifter = sour IPA w/ tangerine @ 6.5% ABV. West Ave. Heritage Dry = New World Heritage Cider @ 6.5% ABV. I'm not really a cider drinker but this cider wasn't too sweet the 6.5% ABV was a bonus. If I see these two back home in Vegas, I'll definitely order again. This is a very cool beer house vibe with lots of dark wood EVERYWHERE. The bar was well stocked with premium liquor and bottled beers. The rotating craft beer taps was the main reason we stopped by and the Bar Hop did not disappoint. The friendly staff really made the experience and the next time I'm looking for a drink in the downtown Toronto area, Bar Hop is the place I'll be leaning towards Eh! Enjoy yourself...
