A lot of people use this private property as a cut through on their work commute. For the more respectable folks, Lakeview is not just a cemetery. It also has the largest concrete dam east of the Mississippi. There is row after row of tombs and graves of some of the wealthiest and most power people in America. The stones and tombs are very ornate and artistic masterpieces. President Roosevelt has his tomb here and he's in the basement of his tomb. Climb to the top of his tomb and it's a beautiful overlook of Cleveland and surrounding areas. With this, be sure to visit when the skies are clear. There is also a fairly large Jewish heritage area of the cemetery.
In the Spring there is a beautiful daffodil walk all over Lakeview. In the summer there is music almost every week.
Pro tip: Follow the road with the white stripe and you'll never get lost.
