I am give this company 2 stars because I feel bad to only give one.
$10,000 in flooring cost
$1,000 of damage caused by this company
The reason I'm giving them 2 stars is not because of the carpet and tile installation. The gentleman that did the carpet did an amazing job, was clean and very nice. The two guys that installed the tile did a nice job on that as well. They were very respectful and the tile and grout lines are very well done. Quoc the store manager was very nice and provided great customer service.
However the tile installers and baseboard installer did do $1,000 worth of damage to my house. The base boards were laid very poorly, the caulking was uneven and ended up on several parts of the walls. The corners were cut very poorly and did not match up. Several holes were put into the walls as well and damaging our newly stained cabinets and banister.
We contacted the store manager Quoc, who came and inspected the house. He sent the baseboard/tile guys back to the house to fix their work. They put another 4 holes in the wall and didn't repair most of the damages we requested to fixed. We again contacted the manager who wanted to send the same guys at this point we said no. We had Dennis Vickers (amazing painter) come back out and give us an estimate to fix the damage Vegas flooring caused. The painter had to redo the banister, some of the cabinets and repair a total of 8 holes plus redo the corners of the baseboards and edging of the baseboards. The total damage came to about $1000.
We contacted the store manage who seemed sympathetic and called the store owner. The owner at first did not want to pay for any of the damage his workers caused, reporting we were liable for the damage. After a few phone calls he went to 50/50 split, which was still not acceptable to us. There were more phone calls and arguments that lead to them only paying $850 worth of the damage they caused. So we are at a loss of money because of this business. Our house also took an extra two weeks to be finished because of them and the damage.
I am updating my review to three stars. After making my review Kwan the store owner called us that night. He apologized and said he was not informed of what was going on until the end of the remodel when we were claiming damages. Kwan covered the full cost of all damages. I wish this could have been the original outcome because they did do a nice job on the carpet and tile.
