  • We recently adopted our German Sheapard from the Mesa Animal shelter. University animal hospital was on the list of vets to get a free post adoption health check. After reading the reviews on University Animal hospital I made my appointment online and filled out all the paper work online prior to my appointment... The appointment process is fast easy and extremely efficient. When we arrived with Drake we were greeted warmly and the front desk assistants were Great. They were obviously all animal lovers and treated Drake like the crown Prince. The vet tech was amazing. We thought she was the doctor because she was so knowledgeable and gentle. Our poor boy was very sick and scared after being strayed for who knows howlong. Also the shock of being in a shelter is horrible. Dr. Rooney was amazing. She helped us to understand his needs and even gave us a day to pay for his antibiotics. She called to check on him twice. I can't say enough about the care and treatment. I wish my family Dr. Was a good as Dr. Rooney
