| - Really nice Euro café...in a weird area.
They have: Slices/whole cakes, pastries like Baklava ($3.99 for a good size), Profiteroles, Napoleon, Crepes, Paninis, homemade Soups, & caffeinated beverages - but no plain Coffee.
(Please correct me if I'm wrong about the no-Coffee thing, but I only saw espresso-based "fancier" drinks like Lattés, Americanos, & Tea.)
Atmosphere was classy & chill! Most people who were there seemed to be enjoying a slice, catching up with a friend, or just grabbing 'n going.
I had an Americano + a slice of their namesake chocolate cake, Casa Romana ($5.50). Cake was covered in chocolate ganache with walnut pieces on the side. Very Euro-tasting, not too sweet, quality ingredients!
Too bad this place is sorta far 'cause I think it would do soo well in a more central area! Definitely recommended and I'd go back when in the area.
