| - Terrible hotel. Two stars instead of one only for the location which is close to great restaurants, theatre and nightlife. First, the lobby, bar and common area feels like it's part of a public concourse. Attached to Starbucks, access to underground shops, upper/lower offices, lots of people coming and going. Lobby bar is terrible. Long wait for elevator every time. The worst part is the room itself and amenities (lack of). Tiniest bathroom, zero counter space, not enough towels, very cramped and uncomfortable. Very little storage in room, no place to put your things. No robes or slippers. Phone didn't work in room. Food served at conference was terrible. Vending machine next to room didn't work. Overall just bad vibes. Maybe okay for one night for business purposes, but definitely not for a special occasion or vacation. Bisha Hotel round the corner is new and a much better alternative for the latter. I will not stay at the Hyatt Regency again.
