I have tried making the Millie crepe cake before and it squeezed out every drop of patience I had in me.
I know there are plenty of stores that sell them now but this is my first time trying one in Toronto
While having dinner at Patria with my friends I told them I was going to pick up Uncle Tetsu on my way home. But then the dinner ran late and Uncle Tetsu was closed by the time we finished eating. So my friend recommended Millie Patisserie&Creamery since it is close by. This place is located in a small street and my friend and I totally missed the turn
We got to the store 15mins before closing and nothing much left. Got the last piece of earl grey millie crepe cake and the black sesame pudding. After 1 hour of train ride I arrived home, the cake was a bit melty because it was out of the fridge. But the cake still tasted really good. It had a strong earl grey flavour and the crepes were thin and soft.
I had the pudding the next day, it was smooth and melted in my mouth
I will try out the other dessert places soon but I am pretty satisfied with both the dessert I got from here!
