I found this on yelp and was so excited! We go to check in and we are told the instructor wasn't feeling well and the class was cancelled. Ugh, huge let down and total waste of time...? Nope, they handled the whole situation perfectly:
- They prob apologized for the cancellation at least 4 times (even though it wasn't their fault. People get sick, these things happen)
- They gave us access to their spa/gym area (at no charge). It's really nice and relaxing in there!
- The woman at the front desk offered to bring us to the area where the dolphins are kept. We saw them from the yoga room and then went upstairs to view them from a different area. It was really nice of them to do this.
Sometimes it's easy to rate & review a business when everything goes perfectly. But I think a bigger indicator of how 'good' a business is/isn't is when things don't go exactly as planned. The staff didn't have to bring us to see the dolphins or anything else. It would of been very easy of them to say, "Instructor is sick, class is cancelled, bye!"
I'm really impressed. Next time I'm in Vegas, not only will go schedule a yoga class with the dolphins, I'll also schedule some services at the Spa.
