| - I am in total agreement with all the one star reviews. This service is terrible, use someone else if you value a good job for what you pay for.
I called through a coupon in the mail for a quick clean, top to bottom, kitchen, bathrooms, vacuum, windows, and 3 blinds. I was told that it would be $75/hr and that they would send 2 girls. I explained to Kate (on the telephone) that the carpets had been deep cleaned and the house just got painted on the entire inside. I also mentioned that the majority of the blinds were new, so only a few needed cleaning (heavy dust.)
Well on the day of the "cleaning", Alma called me and stated that the "girls" said that the job would take 5 hours. 5 HOURS?! Really? I confirmed that they had sent 2 girls and Alma confirmed it. She stated that they said the house was really dirty, and that the baseboards were very dirty. Interesting because it just got PAINTED! I explained to Alma what I needed again and told her that with two girls, they should be able to do the job in 3 hours. Honestly, I could have done the job in 3 hours, but did not have the time.
I went to check the house a few days later (my mistake, I should have checked while they were still there, as they do call you to do so), and found a receipt for $225. My disappointment, however, was when I checked the house, it was like it was before. The exceptions were the kitchen (half and half), the downstairs bathroom, the upstairs bathroom (kind of), and the vacuum marks in the carpet. The blinds still had heavy dust on them, and so did the ONE light fixture in the family room. The windows all were done (so odd how they missed the heavy dusted blinds.)
I called Kate about the "job", and was told that they would call me back. Alma called me back, and when I explained what I saw, she said that it had been too many days to call and tell them. She also said that what I got was a quick clean for 3 hours work. I told her I wasn't satisfied, and who would I contact on that. Alma said that it was her. She apologized but did not offer to remedy anything that was not to my satisfaction. That, to me, is the worse customer service. What's funny is that if Alma had offered to remedy the situation somehow, I would have just politely said, "No thanks...just wanted to let you know," and given them a 2-star rating.
