  • I wish I could give less than 1 star, this place is just the worst! I've been to other Planned Parenthood locations and never had the issues I've had at this one. Truly, just the worst. Everyone in the waiting room is upset about having to wait over an hour after their scheduled appointment time, the staff has no idea what they're doing. They take patients' insurance cards and ID's, then get them mixed up, forget they have them, etc. They don't give you any idea at check in of how long the wait is, which is ridiculous. A simple "we're running about an hour behind" would have been helpful. What would happen if a patient was inexplicably an hour late for their appointment? I've been here twice, and will never go back. I was hoping that the long wait and terrible customer service was an anomaly, but sadly it's the norm here. It is the epitome of a sh*t show. The first time I had the misfortune of wasting an hour an a half of my precious free time here, I brought my 16 year old daughter in to get birth control, we were leaning towards Depo. Even thought she is a minor, I was not allowed to come back with my daughter. The healthcare "professionals" did not give her much information, and since she didn't know what questions to ask, she was not well informed about this decision. Also, I was charged something like $80 for the shot, which I thought was weird since I have insurance, but didn't care to spend another second in this place arguing with the incompetent staff. I brought my daughter back for her next shot 3 months later, and had almost the exact same experience, but a little worse this time. The office staff called me to confirm our appointment the morning of, and said they needed my insurance information. I explained that I provided it last time, the girl mumbled something about "well we don't have it". We showed up about 10 minutes early for our appointment, and waited about an hour and a half. They finally called my daughter back, and told her she'd never been in before. She had to explain more than once that she'd been in 3 months ago, then they asked her why we didn't use insurance. She told them that they should have, that I gave them the information, but I paid out of pocket for it. They didn't apologize or offer to correct it. This place is truly awful.
