| - This is one of my favorite casinos to come to as a local. Not for gambling, but for it's elegance, the food and the atmosphere.
From the moment you set foot in the casino you get this overwhelming scent of the Cosmopolitan. Then your eyes fixate on all the beauty that is the Cosmopolitan. The sparkly shining things that bling bling just about everywhere. But it's the chandler bar is where you're amazed as you look up and see a giant chandler dangling down.
Once you're past all that, the option of gambling is right in front of you. The tables are highly priced throughout the day compared to other casinos during the day, like SLS, Stations and downtown. Their slot machines are pretty cold from my experience of playing here often.
Once you're done playing you can venture to ALL the restaurants the Cosmopolitan has to offer. STK, Secret Pizza, Jaleo, Holsteins, Beauty and Essex, Wicked Spoon, and Scarpetta are just a few of my favorites.
The Cosmopolitan offers a movie night pool side for $5 during the summer! It's great when it's triple digits at night. The movie is shown on the huge LED board that faces the strip. They have a large pool and a small pool. In addition they have foozeball table outside.
The customer service is typically spot on. They do charge for parking. Sadly there is no local parking discount.
If you choose any casino to stay at or simply visit for the beauty and variety, the Cosmopolitan is my recommendation to you.
