I've shopped here before but now they have a notice posted on the counter (and they remind you as well after your purchase) that the cartridges may leak if exposed to temperatures greater than 85 degrees. This is new. I have never in many years of purchasing refilled cartridges had any such vendor tell me this. I've never before had to take any care as to what temperature the cartridge was exposed to, and I have only ever experienced very minor leakage when installing refilled cartridges.
I can only assume, therefore, that this store is using some new process which costs them less money. Well, I had several errands to run before going home and it would have been inconvenient for me to leave and then come back, making this my last stop. So I was as careful as I could be with the cartridge. I ran the car's A/C at high the whole time I was driving. When I made my stops, I took the cartridge in the store with me. I did as much as I could reasonably be expected to do - short of bringing a cooler with me, and why should I have to do that? - to prevent exposing the cartridge to warm temperatures.
I get home, I open up the package, and guess what? That's right, THE EFFING CARTRIDGE BLEEDS INK ALL OVER THE PLACE. A huge mess that took me 20 minutes to clean up off the tile and the sink and my hands.
Never going back here again.
