Must-have ice cream. The parlour is located on a block where many stores aside from itself have gone out of business or are for lease. This store has a simple sign outside and coming back from the Scarborough bluffs it was enough to catch my eye. We parked across the street and went into a fairly busy store. The atmosphere has a bare bones type of feel to it with not much in the way of storage decor. The store offers ice creams, sorbets, sherbets and frozen yogurts. I opted for the peace yogurt while my friend opted for the lemon sherbet. We got bowls and by far, the scoops were amazingly large. You may think that bigger just means more waste, but no! Perhaps it was the heat, but we thoroughly enjoyed our frozen treats and completely finished them off. The staff is very patient and attentive, which is a great thing to see. No half-bored teenager or slacking adults. No, these was customer-focused ice cream personnel! I hope more people will go and give this place their business. In an area where stores are becoming remnants of their bygone days, I think this one may be a happy place for all to maintain.
I will return!
