I want to start off this review with the disclaimer that I am not a fan of Carolina style BBQ. However, having said that, my wife and I were incredibly underwhelmed by the quality of food from Michael Symon: the baked beans were undercooked (an unforgivable mistake on Food Network), Mabel's signature BBQ sauce had a severely powerful vinegar flavor, and the lamb ribs contained hardly any meat on them (especially considering that 4 ribs cost $16). I will say that the marbled brisket is quite delicious, but I can get better BBQ at other local establishments.
