My wife just delivered our first baby. My wife was induced so we were in there for more than 40 hours. The first 40 hours were fantastic, we had nurses Liz and Jordan and in a nice big room. They made you feel the love and nice comfortable room.
Now, postpartum is a joke. I don't want to bad mouth the nurses but wow. My wife could barely move but they insisted we have to move. In the process of moving they almost dropped my wife if it wasn't for me. For the room, you can imagine that you are living in an out house. Our room could not even fit what called a folding bed. After a nurse tried to unfold it, she gave up and said another nurse will bring in a smaller loveseat. That did not happened so we asked for chairs and that was another 15 minutes to half an hour. Normally standing for couple of hours are fine but after 40 hours that was extremely painful. After we got the chairs but not bed... My wife was in pain and the nurse said be right back with her meds and 40 minutes later she got it, etc.... I can go on but what is the point.
I live 5 minutes away from Banner and my insurance is partnered with them but I will go out of my way for my next baby so we won't be at this hospital. Please research my post and this experience for your wife and child. I gave it two stars because of Liz and Jordan; Liz even knitted a hat for all new born babies.
