  • DO NOT GO HERE! I have tried Anthem nails for both pedicures and french manicures several times but today was the last!! I will not be going back. I went to have my gel nails redone. I specifically asked Jennie not to use the white polish, instead wanting the white powder as I have found the other way did not last long. Even after mentioning this several times during the manicure v she proceeded to pull out the white polish for the french manicure. I wondered if she was even listening to what I was saying. To add insult to injury, she then proceeded to loudly involve other technicians and they all started conversing in their language. SPEAK FUCKING ENGLISH! Sorry, but I was very frustrated. She then did not have time to finish my nails as she had a 1pm appointment coming in. So off I was shuttled to the side for 15 minutes until Kevin was free. Kevin did correct the problem with no apologies but in the meantime, another lady came by and said I would have to pay more. OK...I am at the point that it just does not matter! In the end, the nails looked fine. They are shorter than I would have liked since Jennie cut them short and then Kevin proceeded to file them as he should have for this job. Oh well, they will grow back. There are so many nail salons around Henderson, so they can have my business as I do not think the customer should feel bad about asking for what they want without the employees making a scene. I really had a sense that they just wanted to nailpolish paint on the white and get me out of there as there was another appointment coming in. NOT MY TYPE OF SALON!! Also, may I add in response to the review below...GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT ANN M. Kevin DID NOT apologize. Jennie just wanted to shuffle me off somewhere so she could attend to her next appointment. Never mind that I had an obvious impairment...which yes, they knew about when they took my appointment. I felt my review was fair and yes, I was upset due to the technicians behaviour. I will say thanks to Kevin for correcting what Jennie was obviously not listening. By the way, the person that came in that followed me was asked what she wanted by Jennie. She replied that she wanted french nails. Jennie asked her what colour....at which point the lady looked funny at her and repeated ...french nails....see what I mean....The review was fair.
