  • I stayed here for New Years Eve and was happy with my decision. I was impressed by the friendly staff, the lobby and the overall look of the hotel. I'm not happy that parking is $11 especially for North York. There is more than enough spots, but it's an area where hotels can make an easy dollar. What is unforgivable is that the hotel is still charging money for Wifi (even in their lobby). In this day and age, it is simply unacceptable especially for a higher end hotel to do that. The room itself was comfortable, spacious and clean. The only negative was the cordless phone was dated and not working properly. The towels were great and thick, and the bed was very comfortable. The elevators were very fast and the restaurants looked great. We did up going for the Breakfast Buffet the next day and I guess everyone was hung over as there were only about 7-8 of us in the restaurant around 9am. The buffet was great with tons of offerings, including smoothies, seafood, all kinds of breads and meats and plenty of juice offerings. The waiter was speedy with removing plates, filling coffee etc and the food was cooked well. No complaints there. A tad on the pricey side with a final bill of $50 for two people. But it's the Westin, so expected. Check in was a breeze as was checking out. Highly recommended. The only two negatives were paying for parking and paying for Wifi. Other than that, great hotel, great staff and a great room. Highly recommend!
