Another gem that Yelp led me to. Saw the ratings and decided to check this place out...a hipster, cool breakfast joint with amazing menu choices and great atmosphere. I had the Hashbrown plate, topped with 2 sunny-side up eggs and added hickory sausage gravy and bacon. Now if you are a "carbophobe" I would suggest you not order, but if amazing spuds are your weakness you won't go wrong. The plate came loaded with country-style hashbrowns and my guess is 50000+ grams of carbs (at least) :). Also ordered a cappuccino and was pleasantly surprised with it's somewhat chocolatey flavor that was unusual in a great way. Breakfast for one with cappuccino and tip was $20, but very well worth it.
A couple of things to note:
1. My Google map app was trying to take me wayyyy off course, so I am not sure if it was just my phone or if it's a Google map defect? If you are unfamiliar with the area around ASU be careful you don't get sent to East Bumble F by your phone. Take University to College Ave, go north on College and it's on the right near the aquatic center
2. There is no parking lot so you either park on the street near the restaurant or there is a parking deck on the little street behind the restaurant. If you choose street parking the parking spots are metered and will take coins or, get this, will accept your phone reading a QR code to bill the parking fee. I had no spare change and my phone would not read the code so I headed over to the deck and lo-and-behold...parking was free (it was Saturday morning, 8.30am and evidently not a "game day"). BTW the restaurant is maybe a block from Sun Devil Stadium so I can only imagine the mess it would be when the Sun Devils are playing at home.
I LOVE SNOOZE AM! Definitely a chain that would dominate if it goes nationwide!
