Men. We're so neglectful at times. Some of us are just unkempt barbarians grunting about our manly ways. Yet, even the most hagrid looking guy gets to a point where he needs to do something about the helmet of hair on his head.
I discovered 1st Ave Barber shop on Instagram when the guys I followed started posting their sharp haircuts on there. I asked one of them (my cousin) where he got his haircut from, only to be ignored. He obviously underestimated me. It's all good, I'm hesitant in giving this place a review, knowing I'd hate to sour a good place by over-saturation.
The wait at 1st Ave was short. I'm not picky on the barber but Ahmed was a very cool guy who executed a good cut. A solid cut. A non nonsense, right on the dot what I needed haircut.
Reasonable price, enough that I'm def coming back and more often, for maintenance cuts.
