I have been flying in and out of here for years, and was never terribly impressed with Hopkins. I am writing this at my gate as I wait for a flight to depart, and I have to say that I am relatively impressed with the renovations they have done since I was last here a couple of months ago.
The new food court area inside the main terminal, and the new shops really do a lot to make it feel like a new (or at least, updated) airport.
I know there are "better" airports (but really, is an airport ever a destination) and I have certainly been to worse ones (Philly, anyone?), but the ease with which I can get in and out of Cleveland has been made a little more comfortable, and I appreciate that.
