  • Sure, it's a touristy thing you're supposed to do. But I'm not sure it's worth the price if you're under 40. It's much more a mausoleum than a museum. Those who want to get to see every artifact associated with a band will think it's really cool, but it won't teach you much if you go in as a novice. As someone who isn't a hard core fan, most of the exhibits did little for me (the Elvis exhibit, strangely, does the best at actually teaching you fun things). I could see it being fun for current 20- and 30-somethings in a couple decades when it's full of memorabilia of their favorite bands. As it is... send your folks while you go somewhere else instead.
