| - I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. This place won me over, lost me, and kinda redeemed itself. So at this point I'm torn.
I went there for an introductory $79 full set. This location is very clean, smells amazing, and girls are very friendly and personable. They quickly mention and push a soft-sell on the membership and other products and explain the types of lashes available while we are filling out the initial paperwork.
My first set of eyelashes came out good, but didn't last a week. I had never experienced such quick loss of lashes before, and I've had extensions for a while. It was very disappointing and frustrating watching my money literally falling down the sink every morning. I had signed up for the membership, so I thought well maybe not so bad, I can just go back and refill it. Well the problem is that you keep going back for refills because the product simply doesn't last! I did this for a hour three times but it's so time consuming! A good and well-applied set of lashes shouldn't need refill after 10 days!!
That got me thinking... do they give us bad quality products on purpose so we have to get that membership?
Eventually I decided to cancel the membership mostly because I wasn't happy with the product. The cancelation process was easier than I thought, no hassle, but they didn't seem to care I was unhappy either. Since I had already paid for that month I had one last set applied and that's when things turned for the better.
I got a different technician (unfortunately I forgot her name) and she was amazing. At the end I also bought the little mascara they sell (it's pretty much extra glue) and went home. Well, my lashes stayed on for nearly a month!! Now we are talking!! I don't know if it was the combination of the technician and the extra glue, but that time I was super happy with everything!
So I guess my take is: maybe it's a hit or miss. Maybe you get good or bad technicians, maybe you get good or bad set of lashes depending on the day. Up to you if you want to face the risk :)
