  • Short review is positive points for our sales man, Stevens, and the good price for a new vehicle purchase. Negative points for bs fees (although that is pretty standard for most stealerships) and for the high-pressure tactics of Tim in the finance department. Long review: My husband negotiated for a new 4Runner over the phone and we got what we felt was a pretty good price compared to other dealerships and prices we saw online. Months earlier my husband stopped in for a test drive and liked the low-pressure style of the sales guy he worked for named Stevens. We just relocated from the east coast and Stevens came to pick us up from 25 minutes away when we were finalizing the deal since we didn't have a car out here which we appreciated (although given what we were spending, probably any stealership would have done that). Centennial did tack on some bs fees such as window etching, which is a scam and my husband made it very clear from the beginning we weren't paying for that, but Centennial wouldn't budge. They tried to get us on some paint treatment which was already on the car, but we got out of that fee. There were a few other bs fees we couldn't get out of which upon researching are apparently standard for NV. What really irritated us, though, was the high-pressure style of the finance manager Tim when we were ready to close the deal. We had just flown in from the east coast two hours earlier (with a pet which was added stress) and Tim was doing the push for the extended warranty and other add-ons. This blind-sided us. We really just wanted to get the car and be on our way, but we couldn't. We signed up for a maintenance plan (we were exhausted and didn't really look over the details). when we got home and researched it, we were not getting a good deal so the next day my husband went back and we got out money back on the plan. My husband had to go in-person since Tim didn't return his calls.
