I was helping my nephew last fall, find his first car. He did his research and decided down to 3 cars. The civic, impreza and corolla. I took him to a few dealerships to take a look at his choices.
When we arrived at Don Valley North Toyota, we were greeted by Peter Ng. I explained to him that it was a first car, and we were here to test drive. Peter was friendly and accommodating. He didn't use pressure tactics. We took our time to look over the cars, and did the test drive. We did not buy a car on that day. But did go back and purchased a car with Peter's help a few days later.
Good salesperson!! Made shopping here not as stressful as it would have been with a salesperson who uses pressure tactics - such as - are you ready to buy today!
Peter did go to the manager with our counter offers. Some salespeople would try to avoid this and say- "thats a bit low, how about we try this price... " I guess they want more commission off the sale.
