Why have I waited this long to try this place!?! I stopped here today with a colleague and I was beyond impressed with the quality of food, ambiance, and attentiveness of the wait staff. We ordered the Fried Pickles and the Pimento Cheese Fries as appetizers, both of which were full of flavor and cooked just right. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try but figured I had to go with a burger on my first trip. I ended up deciding on the Mammoth Westside Burger that had mustard, chili, slaw, and onions. For some reason 5 oz. sounded really small so i ordered the Mammoth which had two 5 oz. patties. Anyone else wondering the same thing, one patty would have been plenty! Don't get me wrong the Mammoth was really, really good, but it was definitely a lot of meat.
I'm a huge fan of a restaurant that can get away with playing heavy metal music and not have it take away from the total experience. From the artwork hanging on the wall to the slug bug on the roof, this place is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. I've read some reviews about people getting sick (my wife was one of them!) but it's been about 10 hours now since eating there and I've had no issue. I guess check back in a few days to see if I've updated my review :)
