| - When I first moved to Pittsburgh I would bring my cats, and dog here on a regular basis. The last time I went I was incredibly disappointed, and the experience has made me since look for a new vet. I think that the staff and the vet are very nice, but they have become so popular, and are trying to take on too much. I was there at 9:04am, and was the 4th person that signed in. I was brought to a room by 9:30, and then waited until 10:30 before the vet came to see me. Tests were run, and I asked if I could leave and have them call me with the results later, and they told me no. So I again waited longer. Close to 11 I finally had results, and the vet then said she needed to print something about allergies, and left me in the room again without me even getting a chance to tell her I did not need information on allergies. I waited in the room 10 more minutes until I finally walked out. The front desk seemed confused as to why I would just walk out, and then I needed to wait another 10 minutes until they put charges in. I did not look at my bill until later because I was so excited just to leave, but I noticed later that they charged me 20$ to clean my dogs ears! The product they used doesn't even cost that much because I own the bottle, and I would have cleaned my own dogs ears had I known they were going to charge so much. I am beyond disappointed with the cost, and sadly the customer service of this place now. They are trying to do too much with not enough hands on board. I just think that 2.5 hours in a vets office to tell me my dog has allergies is just beyond outrageous, and I am sure I would have been there 3 hours if I had not gotten up and left. I would not recommend this vet any longer, which is a shame because I used to praise this place.
