So we went for Mothers Day lunch...reservations just in case, although there were plenty of table available at 1pm. The service was fantastic...based on the food alone 2 stars. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable explained all of he specials perfectly. I was expecting some sort of lunch menu or a Mother's Day menu...but it seems they were just offering the dinner menu for lunch. Having read tons of great reviews I was expecting this to be very good, but sadly we were all disappointed. I order the Oso Buco special ($36 for a lunch serving) the wife order the half and half ravioli of the day and the kids had the gnocchi ...ALL huge let downs. The oso Buco was tender but with very little taste, and the sauce was just ehh...for $36 lunch plate I was expecting to be wowed. Both my wife and the kids were way more impressed by the fresh focaccia and pesto they bring prior to the meal than their entrees..Gnocchi definitely were not fresh made, and the ravioli were tender but had barely a drizzle of sauce which again was very bland not well seasoned..Spent right at $100 for lunch for 4 (2 kids) and we walked out with a bad taste in our mouths. So sad I really wanted to love this place because we are huge fans of fresh pasta.
