  • I went to open the garage door on a Friday afternoon and it wouldn't budge. The opener tried but would stop only after a couple of inches. Looking up, I could see that the torsion spring was broken in two. Dread. I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get anyone out so late in the day and I had kids to get to school on Monday. I hopped on Yelp and, after a bit of digging around, I found Empire. I read that they would come out the same day - yay! I called them up and they had Wade out a couple of hours later. He was friendly and really seemed to know what he was doing. He got the door working in under a half hour and for about what I was expecting to pay. I'd call them again if I needed more work done.
