Had I looked on Yelp to see all other issues I wouldn't have booked at the Delano. I had the same issues as others did. Room wasn't ready at 3pm had to wait an hour. Then we were getting upset and they tried to down grade our room with a view to a room that was ready on the 3rd floor. We didn't go for that!! First staff member at check in not pleasant at all, as if we were an annoyance to her. Wish I had a name she needs more people skills. Didn't give us any details of the hotel and didn't ask to take our luggage while we wait for our room that wasn't ready on time. Lugging our suit cases everywhere wasn't fun. Second employee at the desk was much nicer and gave us full details of the hotel even issued us a credit to the resort for the Issues we had. The room was nice with a view. Glad we didn't go for the room on the 3rd floor. Our stay was okay, but first impressions are everything. If you are having a bad day don't take it out on other people.
