| - Don't go to this dealership for anything...unless it is for a free replacement battery for your key.
I've owned several Lexus and have been to this dealership several times since they were very close to where I lived. First of all, this dealership understocks the amount of Lexus loaner cars versus any other Lexus dealership I have been to around the valley and in AZ. I started driving to Chandler and Superstition Springs to get oil changes just to get a Lexus loaner car instead of a Toyota Corolla. I mean common, if you go to Mercedes and get a loaner vehicle, they don't give you a Chrysler.
I took my new Lexus in for its first oil change. They were full for the day...not a big deal, so I scheduled an appointment with one of the guys in the outdoor cubicles. It took 20 minutes to schedule the appointment because they had a "new computer system that he didn't know how to use", but finally he pulled up my info in the system and I was on my way. Then I go to pay the next day with my free oil change card for 1st time oil changes for new cars. The lady at the counter freaks out and tells me that she has already rung me up, calls in the guy that scheduled my appointment to resolve the issue. He proceeds to lecture me saying that I should have told him I was going to use that coupon yesterday when I was making the appointment so he could plan ahead. (sorry buddy, must have forgotten during the 20minutes of you figuring out how to use the computer). Then he continues by complaining to me about all the extra work I have created for him. SERIOUSLY????? Is this LEXUS service?
Another visit: I had gotten into a car accident and had my car serviced by Lexus. Part of the work getting done was to re-surface my rim. I'm checking out at the counter and reading through the paperwork once my car was completed. I let the guy know that my rim was supposed to be re-surfaced but it didn't show up on the service sheet of what was completed. He calls over another guy who asks what the problem is. He takes a look at the sheet and tells me, "you are going to have to pay extra for getting your rim resurfaced". No questions asked, just telling me I will have to pay more. I informed him that it was part of the agreement of work that I had scheduled. Then he let me know that "we would never agree to doing that at this price, you are going to have to pay more." I let him know I didn't care if I had to pay more because insurance was covering it, but I needed my rim resurfaced. Then he goes on to explain how difficult it is to resurface a rim and how much more it costs...all in a demeaning, annoyed tone...only to come to realize the work was done and not written up. At the end of that whoop-la he says to me, well there you have it, the work was done. No apology, nothing.
Bottom line, this Lexus dealership's service department has horrible customer service.
