  • With all the poker bars/taverns in the Valley, it's rare to find one that's pretty unique. Part gaming bar and part video game playground, this place for the over 21 crowd is impressive. A wall of prizes (New Orleans style of course) is the really unique thing here. Earn tickets at the games of skill to redeem for the prizes. Necklaces, sports related gear even T-shirts are on the prize wall. I'd love to give a 5 star rating, but smoking is allowed. There were about 4 customers when I got there around 6:30 pm, and I think all were at the poker machines. There are lots of poker machines (20 plus?) at the bar, and the video games are dispersed throughout. I noticed Pac-Man, a virtual motorcycle game, street fighter, Jurassic park, etc. Also pool tables. The decor is out of control, check out the girls dancing on the balconies. The bar's location is wonky, it backs up to the 215 off Tenaya/Sunset. A few take aways after my first visit: even after a very helpful employee explained how the tokens for video games work, I didn't get it. Something about buying them at the kiosk versus from the employees. From what I've read, you'll get tokens with food/drink purchases. Sounds like an awesome deal! The beer selection is pretty amazing too. I had a mango wheat draft and the bottle selection was good also. I walked away a more than $50 cash winner my first time hitting the machines here, and hope to score some prizes on the video games next time! If you don't like this location, there are 9? (and counting) more Bourbon Streets to choose from.
