  • I can't say that I've ever been a big waffle fan (I tend to go for crepes or French toast), but Starving Artist may have made me a convert. Their sandwiches with waffles instead of bread are great. The smoked salmon sandwich with dill baked into the waffles and their BLT are particular standouts. I wasn't as big of a fan of their chicken sandwich, which was somewhat bland. It's a really busy brunch place. You have to be willing to wait, which I have no problem doing. The service is a bit hit or miss though. The first time I went there, the service was efficient and courteous, but the second time, the waitress was quite distracted, forgetting to bring elements we had ordered and I had to wait 15-20 minutes for a refill of coffee. But the food will definitely keep me coming back for more!
