  • This store is perfectly placed in the heart if Shadyside. The owners really knew what they were doing here: they bought a place on one of the busiest shopping streets in the city, in an upperclass neighborhood where tennis is likely one of the most popular recreational activities. And voila: successful tennis speciality store. Further, they boast on their website to be the ONLY tennis speciality store in the region- that's quite impressive. I stop in here during shopping strolls on weekend days to get an essential every once in a while. I'm a tennis player, and I'm just beginning a league next weekend- so I had to get a few necessities, including racket grips, sweat band, and can of balls (although I usually visit a pharmacy or Target for these). The people here are very nice and helpful. I've never restrung my racket here, so I can't speak for the quality of this service; however, I'm pretty sure I'll stop in here the next time I need to get this done.
