  • I can't see why anyone would hate this place. If you do, I'm sorry that your childhood was so terrible that you couldn't enjoy this place. Sure, only the exterior of the house was used for the movie, but that still means the movie was filmed here. And the guy who bought it has restored it to be a carbon copy of what it looked like in the movie. Such an awesome job done by the guy.
