Yay! I am a fan of Apple products. I have moved to Cleveland area about 19 months ago and have been to this apple store many times. I have been to apple stores in almost all the cities I have visited since 2006 including London, UK. I have seen the brand become very famous from a respected but pricey! Apple stores have evolved too. There was a time when Apple store employees really loved what they did. They stood behind the product like the company has done over the years. I felt like I was given a personal attention during my every visit and every employee was personally passionate about the product.
It has changed since the iPad release. I have found more and more employees who are just working (like at typical consumer electronic super store) for money. The passion of the Apple employee is not there in some of them. I have been lucky to find someone who is really passionate at every store whenever I had a question that need a little more expertise than showing where a particular item is in the store. So there is still some passion but it has been diluted. Sometimes I don't even feel welcome anymore. Lately I have avoided just wandering in the store like I used to do every time I am near an Apple store.
I will still be a fan as long as apple is in business and makes the high quality hardware and software. But the days of me visiting Apple store just because I am nearby are over.
