  • I love old, well maintained theatres. Massey Hall already had this one in the bag. However, when we found out that Eddie Izzard was doing a show while we were going to be in Toronto, we had to go. Combining old, historic theatre and witty, British, cross-dressing comic; Massey Hall was fishing with dynamite where I was concerned. The thing I liked best, was the combination of a semi-thrust stage with a wide proscenium that the audience wraps around. It brings you closer to the performance and makes it very intimate.
