  • The restaurant created a very unwelcoming and negative experience. There was a waiter that was very snippy and curt that kept coming to my table. He spoke in a condescending manner towards the guests at my table. The rude attitude coming from restaurant staff set the pace for the whole evening experience. The subpar service was so bad we had to swap waiters. It was a big disappointment for what could have been a nice evening. Equally important, I ordered Hydroponic Bibb Lettuce Salad with baby tomatoes, crispy pancetta, toasted brioche croutons, sweet garlic parmesean dressing. I thought the salad portion was very skimpy and served on a large plate. Next, I ordered The Chef's Daily Featured Dish which was a Grilled Halibut over a bed of Creamy Risotto and a small portion of Asparagus. I was more disappointed when I lifted my fork from the risotto and human hair came out. This is not what I should be finding in my food at an establishment like this. I ordered a Peanut Butter & Chocolate dessert. It had milk chocolate with peanut butter mousse, peanut butter carmel cream and butter honey ice cream. I addressed the issues with management. The management spent a lot of time making excuses and arguing. I ended up leaving the restaurant feeling very disappointed, dissatisfied and unhappy with the evening. It is a shame because the view of the city is unique. However, the city view and dinner is not enjoyable or worth the expense if you end up getting the same type of dinning experience I had. The food might look appealing but, it isn't very appetizing if you are going to be finding things in the food that should not be served in it. Therefore, I find it difficult to recommend Different Pointe of View to others. The restaurant needs to work on creating a welcoming atmosphere that guests can enjoy. Also, they need to improve the level of service provided for the premium price they are demanding.
